Auroville- An Introduction

Introduction to Auroville:

Auroville is an experimental township located in the state of Tamil Nadu, India, close to Pondicherry (Puducherry). It was founded in 1968 by Mirra Alfassa, also known as "The Mother," with the vision of creating a universal city where people of all nationalities, religions, and cultures could live together in harmony. Today, Auroville is home to over 2,500 people from more than 50 different countries and continues to grow.
